    Terms of Use

    1. About these terms

    These terms are an agreement between you and ONEVAULT FZE LLC, which operates StoryBook Schools and storybookschools.com ("StoryBook Schools", "we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

    2. Who can use StoryBook Schools

    • Only a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over can create an account.
    • Children can use StoryBook Schools inside their parent's account, in Story World.
    • You are responsible for how your children use the service. We recommend setting a parent PIN.

    3. Your account

    • Keep your password and PINs private.
    • Give us accurate information, and only add children you are the parent or guardian of.
    • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

    4. The service

    Children can write their own illustrated story, or shape a story that we write and illustrate with them. Parents receive a short report after each story. StoryBook Schools is still growing, so we may add, change, pause or remove features at any time.

    5. Stories and story packs

    • New families get free stories to start. The current offer is shown on our website.
    • After that, you can buy story packs. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
    • Your stories do not expire and are shared by all the children in your account.
    • Stories are taken from your balance as books are made. A writing story uses less than a reading story, as shown in the app.
    • Stories have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.

    6. Prices and payment

    Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. If any tax applies, it is shown before you pay. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, and your receipt and card statement will show ONEVAULT FZE LLC. We may change prices in the future, but a change never affects stories you have already bought.

    7. Refunds

    Story packs are non-refundable, including stories you have not used yet. Your stories do not expire, so you can use them at any time.

    • If a story fails because of a technical problem, we return it to your balance.
    • If you were charged by mistake or charged twice, we refund that charge.

    This does not affect any rights you have under the law where you live.

    8. Your child's stories

    • The stories your child creates belong to your family.
    • You give us permission to store, process and show them to you and your children, and to create the pictures, audio and reports, so we can provide the service. This permission ends when you delete the story or your account.
    • We never let other companies use your child's stories to train their AI. You can choose to let us use them, with names removed, to improve our own reports (see our Privacy Policy).
    • We only show a story publicly if you give us permission.
    • You may download, print and share your family's books for personal, non-commercial use.

    9. AI-made content

    StoryBook Schools uses AI to write stories, create pictures and audio, and write reports. AI can make mistakes, and results may vary. Reports are a friendly guide, not a school grade or a professional assessment of any kind. If something looks wrong or unsuitable, please tell us.

    10. Keeping Story World safe

    Please do not use StoryBook Schools to create content that is harmful, hateful, violent, sexual or unsuitable for children, to share other people's private information or photos without permission, to copy other people's characters, brands or books, or to misuse or interfere with the service. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

    11. Our content

    The StoryBook Schools name, logo, design and app belong to us. Please do not copy them without our permission.

    12. Our responsibility

    We work hard to keep StoryBook Schools available and safe, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights that cannot be limited by law.

    13. Closing your account

    • You can close your account at any time in Settings (Delete my account), or by emailing us.
    • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
    • Unused stories are not refundable when an account is closed.

    14. Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. If we make important changes, we will let you know by email or in the app. If you keep using StoryBook Schools after that, the updated terms apply.

    15. Law and disputes

    These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If you have a problem, please contact us first. Most problems can be solved quickly by email.
